The monograph presents the results of empirical studies of the social work of the parishes of the Russian Orthodox Church in modern Russia, which were held in 2012-2015. Research seminar "Sociology of Religion" PSTGU with the support of the RGNF and the PSTU Development Fund. The authors analyze the formation and development of parish communities, within which strong support networks are formed and social assistance is carried out.
