This book is intended for the introduction of the concepts of modern fundamental science into a common circle with its idea of the structure and evolution of the universe and the place of man in it, considered from the point of view of Christian and - in some places - specifically Orthodox theology.
The book is divided into three blocks. The first is the general issues of the ratio of science and religion, as well as the problems of cognitiveness of the universe and the nature of physical laws with a special status of mathematical knowledge. The second block is dedicated to the structure and evolution of the universe. The third part of the book is devoted to the problems associated with the essence of life and consciousness when trying to analyze them from the standpoint of the natural sciences.
