This collection is devoted to analyzing the issue of the "Russian World" in the countries of the post -Soviet territories. The monograph is based on the empirical data of a sociological study conducted by employees of the FSN information and analytical center in 2017 in Uzbekistan. The book highlights the issues of the existence of Russian -speaking Orthodox communities among the mainly Muslim environment, the view of Russian -speaking parishioners for the prospect of Russians in this region, available opportunities and problems. The study was conducted both with the help of a quantitative method of mass survey, and with the help of qualitative methods - focus groups with different -aging parishioners and expert interviews with the metropolitan, rector of temples, priests, active parishioners engaged in social work in parishes. The book will be interesting to everyone who dealt with the issues of the "Russian world" and its Orthodox part, who are interested in developing trends in relation to the Russian -speaking population living in the post -Soviet space
