The book of Archpriest Konstantin Bufeev "Orthodox doctrine of the creation and classics of evolutionism" contains scientific and theological criticism of evolutionary teaching stated in the treatises of C. Darwin, V.I. Vernadsky and P. Teyar de Chardin. The examples of the analysis of the creative heritage of these authors show the philosophical and methodological failure of not only the evolutionary concepts of the materialistic sense, but also the "theory of divine evolutionism".
In addition to the meaningful study of the teachings of the largest representatives of evolutionism, the monograph presents philosophical (in the introduction) and art history (in conclusion) views on the problem. The issues of the moral and ethical content of social-Darwinism, as well as other anti-Christian aspects inherent in evolutionist ideology are addressed.
