The publication proposed to the reader is devoted to the history of the Orthodox churches of the Southeast Europe in the period between the two world wars rich and saturated with important events. These years have become a turning point in the history of a number of local Orthodox churches of the Balkan Peninsula. The Patriarchate of Constantinople lost all his dioceses in Asia Minor, but managed to preserve and even increase its influence in the Orthodox world, the Serbian and Romanian churches acquired the status of the patriarchy and significantly expanded their territories, a new autocephalous Orthodox Church - Albanian.
