Orthodox brotherhoods in the history of Russia. In 2 parts

The collection was prepared based on the materials of the Second All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference with international participation "Orthodox Brotherhoods in the History of Russia". It included reports, discussions and materials of the round table dedicated to the history of Orthodox fraternities, as in response to the famous appeal of Patr. Tikhon (Bellavin) of the beginning of 1918, and acting in earlier and later historical eras. New sources associated with the history of Orthodox fraternities in Russia and the Near Abroad are introduced into the scientific circulation, and the cultural, historical, ecclesiological understanding of the phenomenon under study is also proposed. The compilers considered it important to offer readers the whole variety of materials presented at the conference, therefore, the collection includes not only articles of professional historians, but also the work of novice scientists, graduates and students, local historians and researchers of family archives
