The dilogy "One version of the betrayal of Judas" is a daring attempt to revive the method of allegorical interpretation of the Bible, which is based on the actually dead traditions of the Alexandrian school, founded by teachers such as Clement and Origen. However, in many respects, the author manages to go much further than the famous Alexandrians. Based on the commandment about the need to love God with all understanding, the author does not allow the inconsistency of the truth, as well as the provisions that are not comprehended by the human mind.
The author strives for maximum systematic presentation. Starting with such general principles as the impossibility of literal interpretation of many fragments of the Holy Scripture and rejection of a simple approach to biblical texts, the author moves to such topics as philosophical anthropology, the nature of human knowledge, the existence of evil and the meaning of salvation.
Talking about salvation, the author proves that one godfather for salvation is not enough due to the existence of a temptation about Christ. In the case of salvation, another character is needed. The author insists that such is Judas Okariot - a figure that is completely superfluous in modern theology of both eastern and Western Christianity. The author is almost excessively dedicated in detail at the "secret of lawlessness" - the topic, in ignorance of which even Augustine was recognized.
Based on the rejection of literal meaning, the author not only faces the need to rethink the essence of Christianity, but actually claims to eliminate the contradictions between Christianity and Judaism.
The first book, "Who is this genus?" It was previously published in 1993 and caused the most conflicting responses, starting with the chanting of the praises and proclamation of the author the greatest Christian mind of our time, and ending with the pronunciation of curses and rude threats to the author.
The book contains a huge number of biblical quotes, often fixed according to the original, as well as many excerpts from the creations of early Christian authors. These fragments are complemented by the optional material of the Coptic Gospels of Thomas and Philip.
The book is an interdisciplinary study where various branches of theology and philosophy are in contact, and at times psychology and natural sciences.
For readers seeking the truth. Contraindicated to fanatics
