Archpriest Andrei Tkachev is a priest of the Russian Orthodox Church, writer, missionary, TV presenter and preacher.
Born in 1969 in Ukraine in the city of Lviv. He studied at the Moscow Military Suvorov School. He graduated from the Kyiv Theological Seminary. Happy to the priest in 1993. For many years he served as a clergyman of the Church of St. George the Victorious (Lviv) Later he receives an invitation to become a rector in the temple of the Monk Agapit Pechersky in Kyiv. Here he abbrees for 8 years, and also engaged in active educational activities. He conducts programs on the Orthodox channel Kievan Rus, gives lectures, writes books. Since 2013, he has been led by the missionary department of the Kyiv diocese. He conducts programs on the Orthodox television “Garden of Divine Songs”, “To the Dream of the Coming”, “Holy Truth”, “Conversations with the Father”.
Author of many books that have become real bestsellers among readers.
