Having graduated in 1963, the 2nd Moscow Medical Institute, the author was engaged in healing all subsequent years. He happened to serve as an exit doctor of the specialized brigade of the Moscow ambulance station, the resident of the therapeutic department of the city clinical hospital, an anesthetist-resuscitator at the Tuberculosis Institute, and a senior researcher of the All-Union Cardiological Scientific Center. In the future, he was in charge of the therapeutic department in the Moscow City Clinical Hospital No. 20. As an assistant professor, he taught internal diseases at the Faculty of Medicine of the 1st Moscow Medical Institute. For more than 20 years he worked as a freelance scientific editor of the publishing house "Medicine".
