This book is "collecting colorful chapters ... of the mind of cold observations and hearts of woeful notes." Its author L.B. Black, publicist, translator from German works by G. Bell, E.M. Remarca, F. Kafka and other famous writers, in 2017 turned 100 years old. In 2015, L.B. Black was published in the "New Literary Review, The Book of Memoirs" The Skinen Rain" - about time and about myself. The main theme of the new book was "Pictures of the past" in the light of the present: as the day gave birth to the day yesterday. No wonder L.B. Black began her career as a political journalist and dedicated the history of German fascism for 40 years of life, writing many articles on this topic and - together with her husband D.E. Melamide - a book about Hitler "Criminal number 1". You can agree or not with the author’s interpretation of the 1990s and now what is happening, but the acute mind, observation, polemic temperament and a keen interest in events and people, as well as a wonderful sense of humor, make the narrative extremely entertaining
