This book included nine lectures on natural theology, which Astrophysicist Karl Sagan read in 1985 at the University of Glasgow, in Scotland, and which were edited and published after the death of the scientist.
Considering the picture of the world adopted within the framework of the Judeo-Christian-Muslim traditions, the evidence of the existence of God and the idea of religious experience, the Sagan calls for informed worship. He considers the religious evidence of the existence of God, pays a lot of attention to the emergence of life, the existence of a reasonable life outside the solar system and the threat of self -destruction of mankind. Along the way, talking about how the person’s idea of the world was formed and changed, and offers the audience the idea that science is not a counter -divided tool, but just on the contrary allows us to better understand what is happening around.
