The tall lama of the Tibetan tradition of Kagyu is Kalu Rinpoche. Before gone to a single meditation resemblance for 12 years, he studied with many outstanding students from different traditions. He was identified as the embodiment of the activity of Jamgon Congtrus Lodrao Thae, one of the greatest scientists of Kagyu tradition. Rinpoche was one of the first Tibetan masters who happened to study in the West.
