In the fourth volume of a collective monograph, written by employees and graduates of the Department of Philosophy of Religion and Religious Science Faculty of Philosophy of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov, continues to medievist and religious studies, begun in previous issues. The new volume in its plan is somewhat different from the previous three, because It is built around the personalities that affect in their work various aspects of the psychology of religion and psychoanalysis. In the materials of the first section (“West”), among other things, the views of Karl Gustav Yung (1875-1961), Paul Radin (1883-1959), Theodore Raik (1888-1969), Maria-Louise von Franz (1915- 1998), Edward Eddingra (1922-1998), Theodore ABTA (born 1947), James Hillman (1926-2011) and other corphytracs of social anthropology, psychology of religion and psychoanalysis, illustrating their theories, in particular, examples from ancient and medieval Continuing and Western religious traditions of the era of long Middle Ages. The second section (East) is a Buddhological, it is dedicated to the history of the origin and formation of the Buddhist psychopractic of the Far Eastern Mahayana, first of all, in the early medium -crop states of Indochina and in Japan
