The book is dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Preobrazhensky Brotherhood and includes a collection of interviews taken by Sergey Smirnov from the founder and spiritual trustee of the brotherhood of Fr. Georgy Kochetkov for a rather long period, the first of them was taken in 1995, the latter in 2015.
The idea of the very first interview arose out of a desire to try to organize an intra-church dialogue, which in the normal case should have occurred at some other sites, but in the realities of the post-Soviet life of the church and society, it was clearly not different. For many issues, the voice of Fr. George, to which numerous claims were expressed, therefore, the list of issues discussed was actually determined by opponents.
These conversations are addressed primarily to those who really want to delve into the essence of disagreements on often difficult issues of intra -church life. You can hope that the interview will be interesting to everyone who wants to know the position of Fr. George on many topical issues of church life "first -hand." Three interviews are published for the first time.
The second edition is supplemented by photographs from the personal archive about. George and the archive of the Preobrazhensky Brotherhood.
