The name Midrash Slave was fixed in the printing of Midrashi for the Pentateuch: Bereshita Slave, Samd Slave, Vaikra Rabe, Bemidbar Slave, Dvarim Slave, as well as to five scriptures: Shire ѓa-shimyim slave, rut slave, Eikha Slave, Esther Slave. These are ten independent works, including numerous interpretations of Scripture by Talmudic sages and their followers. Ten books were selected by a medieval publisher from numerous works of Talmudic literature and became a kind of canon of traditional Jewish book. The first of them is the slave, anthology of interpretations on the first book of the biblical canon - Bereshit, the most ancient of the monuments of the literature of Midrash. None of the works included in the meeting of Midrash Slave has never previously been translated into Russian
