In the 3rd book of the Biography of the Blessed Anthony, Metropolitan of Kyiv and Galitsky, which included the 5th and 6th volumes of the ten-volume edition of the Russian Orthodox Church, it tells about the tragic period of Russian church life, forced to arrange in emigration, first in Constantinople, and then in Europe- In Yugoslavia, Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia, France. It is described in detail about the circumstances of the Russian foreign church cathedral in 1921, which was held in the Sremsk Karlovians and appeared with an epoch -making milestone for the existence of Russian Orthodoxy abroad. Much attention was paid to the state of the Russian Orthodox Church in the USSR, persecution of it from the state, the activities of Patriarch Tikhon until his death and after, when the declaration of Metropolitan Sergius appeared. A significant place is occupied by the pages dedicated to the theological heritage of Vladyka Anthony - the description of his work “Experience of the Orthodox Christian Catechism” with detailed analysis and criticism, as well as the texts of many of his messages, speeches and sermons.
