Priest Sergius Zheludkov (7.06.1909-30.01.1984) sent the first version of the “liturgical notes" to the "calendar-missing commission" under the Holy Synod. It was praised by the Archbishop of Athanasius (Sakharov), now counted on the face of saints. The work received a favorable assessment of Professor MDA D.P. Ogitsky. In Samizdat, a significantly supplemented and processed book appeared in 1973. Partially published in the Vestnik RCHSD in 1972-1973 (No. 103-107).
Sincerely and unpleasantly discusses the author of the "notes" urgent problems of the Orthodox worship, on the basis of his own experience - both the priest and the parishioner - relying on the works of the Russian liturgists of the past, he reflects on how to achieve conscious prayer service in the Orthodox Church
