“Svetoch of confidence” is a classic textbook of the Tibetan tradition of Kagyu. The author, Jamgen Congrall I Lodrau Tyhae (1813–1899), is considered one of the greatest scientists of Tibet, his pen belongs to more than 120 volumes dedicated to various topics of Buddhist philosophy and the practice of many Tibetan schools. In this book, Jamghen Congrul describes in detail the foundation of Kagu"s practice - a system of fundamental exercises of Nyndro - and gives the most important philosophical ideas that are behind these meditations.
