In the book of F.V. Farrara “The Life of Jesus Christ” through literary and historical analysis, the integral picture of the Earth’s life of the Savior is recreated. The author builds a story in a chronological order, masterfully conveying individual gospel plots, which are presented rather compressed in the Gospels themselves, and filling the gaps between the individual parts of the gospel history. This publication included chapters dedicated to events from the life of Christ from Christmas to visiting Galilee. The translation of this book, executed by A.P. Lopukhin, at one time was extremely critically accepted by the Russian clergy, was used by M. A. Bulgakov when creating the novel “Master and Margarita”
