Rainhold Messner is an Italian traveler, climber and writer from South Tyrol.
In the fall of 1986, he set a record, which at that time was impossible to believe - he was the first to ascend to all 14 eight thousandths of the world without artificial oxygen, and 2 of them alone. Behind his shoulders are more than 3000 climbing, 100 first -time and 70 published books.
In this book, Messner talks about mountaineering, based on materials and documents over the past 100 years.
