The correspondence of the famous scientist, one of the founders of the Soviet cosmonautics, academician Sergei Korolev (1906-1966) with his wife Nina covers 18 years. By the family of classes, Korolev had to spend a considerable time away from the family. Hence the abundance of epistolary material, in which the inevitable - and very meaningful - family -domestic layer is superimposed on the event epoch -making for the formation of the cosmonautics of the event. The parallel historical chronicle, which records in detail everything that happened during these years in the field of space exploration in the USSR and in the world, makes the "horizon of events" even wider. The correspondence and the chronicle are preceded by the memoirs of Nina Ivanovna Koroleva, written by her after the death of her husband
