One of the forms of presence of religion in the field of civil society is the religious education of children within the framework of state comprehensive schools, and although the experience of religious education of schoolchildren in one state can be characterized by special uniqueness due to a kind of constitutional, cultural, ethnic and socio-political reality, appeal to such experience is instructive. For Russia, Germany’s experience is, of course, strategic importance. Russia, like Germany, is a polyconfessional (multi -religious) state. In Russia, like Germany, there is a real threat of radicalization of Muslim youth. Therefore, in Russia, by analogy with Germany, it is also necessary to ensure, with the help of school religious education, the development of a comprehensive long-term strategy to lead the religious worldview of Muslim youth, this kind of radicalization is fed not so much by social problems (unemployment, marginalization of certain religious and ethnic groups), as much as ideological injections from outside within the framework of spiritual and educational activities at the level of religious communities.
