The book “Invisible Branch” first became known to the Russian reader in the translation of St. Theophan the Recluse in 1885, after which it was repeatedly reprinted. She became a classic leadership in spiritual life, a textbook for those who are trying to fulfill the commandments of the Lord: to forgive resentment, pray for those who create misfortunes, to love even their enemies.
“Invisible abuse” reveals the path to salvation in Christ. According to the Monk Nicodemus Svyatogorets, “every person who wants salvation is learning how to defeat the invisible enemies of his own in order to gain the treasures of true and divine virtues and for that, to get an inconsistent crown and pledge of eternal, which is unity with God and in the present century, And in the future. This abuse, says the author, is immensely difficult because the enemy is in us, and therefore, “entering into the abuse with ourselves, in our own way we meet anti -defects,” in other words, we are at war with the evil that we learn to recognize in ourselves.
