The textbook "Introduction to religious vocabulary" is intended for cursory reading and is designed for persons who have mastered the theory and practice of the German language in the volume of an elementary course. The manual is addressed primarily to students of the II and III year of the Faculty of Theological PSTU to develop and improve the skills of a professionally oriented translation. This manual is also recommended for philologists, high school students of Orthodox gymnasiums with in-depth study of the German language, as well as a wide circle of people who read religious literature in German and want to expand their linguistic knowledge. The manual consists of two parts. The first section provides daily prayers and some well -known biblical texts. The second chapter presents the lives of many ancient and modern saints. Significant attention is paid to working on the expansion of the vocabulary, which is facilitated by the vocabular tables compiled after each text.
