In 2021, a centenary of the birth of Fr. Alexandra Shmeman (1921-1983), one of those church thinkers who managed his work - both research, journalistic and pedagogical - to change the face and nature of the Orthodox theology of the past century. The real book is the foundation of the thought of Father Alexander, it was in it that he began to develop his theology of the liturgy. Its main theological intuition is to see and understand the church worship, and above all the Divine Liturgy, as the direct phenomenon of the Church, the embodiment of its deep essence.
In his work, Father Alexander clearly shows the uniqueness of the Orthodox liturgical tradition, synthesizing various forms of God"s reading and completely revealing the possibilities of genuine God"s communication
