The Talmudic treatise "Avot", known in Russian as the "teachings of the fathers", was commented over for centuries. Comment A.A. Wyingort is an interpretation of the ancient text by today"s rabbi and professor of the Sorbonne. He is inherent in a deep understanding of the text itself, the wide knowledge of the classical heritage of the Middle Ages and the New Age from Saadia Gaon and Maimonid in the east to Maaral and Rava ѓirsh in Europe.
