The publication is dedicated to the fate of the inhabitants of the St. Petersburg Joannovsky Monastery and its Vaulovsky Holy Assumption Skit in the 20th century. All of them were the spiritual daughters of the holy righteous John of Kronstadt and their life and selfless service of the Church proved loyalty to the covenants of the shepherd. The feat of these nuns, with rare exceptions, previously remained unknown. The book was prepared in accordance with the planned task of the Central State Archive of St. Petersburg. The author of the publication is the famous church historian Mikhail Vitalievich Kakarovsky. The book is intended for historians, clergymen and all those interested in the history of the Russian Orthodox Church
