The book presents essays and aphorisms in the genre of religious and philosophical journalism and political science, in which the author discusses the eternal issues of being in relation to modern consumption society. In the soul of each person there is his own paradise and his own hell, created by him personally during his life on Earth. The dimensions of paradise and hell and their ratio depend on the earthly path that each of us chooses, guided by his will. The Creator does not force anyone and does not solve anything for anyone. Giving people the right to free choice between light and darkness, he only told them about the shortest path that leads anyone to a happy and serene life in the kingdom of the eternal spirit. We ourselves decide where to live, but for some reason we most often choose hell, where, no matter how paradoxical it may sound, we are at our own request and do not rush to leave it. Along with thoughts about the eternal, the author for the first time in his work addresses the problem of the relationship of sexes, which plays a significant role in the fate of the vast majority of people. As a starting point for his reasoning, he used one of the fundamental theses of the central work of the famous German philosopher Arthur Schopenhauer “Peace as a will and an idea” that the basis of all love arising between a man and a woman lies sexual instinct. Trying, if possible, not to join in absentia with a respected outstanding thinker, the author fascinatingly and in detail conducts a comparative analysis of existing theories and views about the most intimate sphere of human life. The book is designed, first of all, for readers who seek and find the meaning of being not in the vain blessings of the world, but in the endless depths of their soul, which opens up to man in faith in the process of spiritual growth
