Elder Joseph Isihast (1897-1959) - Athos ascetic, revered and beloved not only in Greece, but also in Russia. The revival of spiritual life on Athos in the 20th century is associated with his name, and his whole own life was a constant search for divine grace.
This book contains a brief biography of the elder Joseph Isihast, the story of his blessed death, left by one of his closest students with the Ephraim of Philofey, and the spiritual instructions of the elder. The text is accompanied by many illustrations, including unique photographs that help us personally see the amazing life of Joseph Isihast.
