Illness in the light of Orthodox creation

In his work, “Disease in the light of Orthodox doctrine”, the famous theologian Jean-Claude Larche tries to develop the quintessence of the doctrine of bodily diseases and their cure. Exploring this topic, the author relies on the Holy Scriptures, the works of the Holy Fathers, liturgical texts and the doctrine of the sacraments of the Church. The first part of the book is devoted to questions about the sources and the causes of diseases, the relationship of the disease with evil and sin. The second part reveals the spiritual meaning of diseases.
