How to live today

In all centuries of Christianity, the most important issue for any Orthodox person was the question of salvation: How to live, what to do in order to escape? As spirituality was impoverished, among the Christian peoples, pillars of grace were impoverished among them. According to St. Ignatius Bryanchaninov, the fathers of the first centuries, anticipating this impoverishment, wrote their God -seeked creations, guiding in the way to salvation. All the more valuable for us are the letters of the righteous of the last times explaining the works of saints in relation to our difficult time.
