The textbook of Archpriest Gabriel Delitsyn, who served as the basis of our book, was first printed in St. Petersburg in 1880 under the name "Pious mother explains the main objects of the Law of God in the circle of her native family." This was one of the best manuals for preschool training. Over the pre -revolutionary years, the book withstood more than ten reprints and received the approval of the Holy Synod. On its pages, it is simply and understandable to children with the language of the foundations of Orthodox creed, church sacraments, church and worship. The book can be recommended not only for home lessons, but also for Sunday schools.
