Having chosen in the number of the twelve Apostles John, the Lord called him the son of Gromov, the theologian, because theology seemed to be announced by thunder to announce the universe. For meekness and purity, John enjoyed the special love of the Lord. All that the Lord did especially important was in His presence: whether he resurrected the dead, whether he was transformed on a favorite, whether he established the last mysterious suppet. John"s love was great for her teacher. And Christ adopted John to His Mother. “Here is the son to you,” he says to the victim of the Virgin, standing at the cross. And, turning to John, he continues: "Here"s a mother to you." John fulfilled the divine will - like a devoted and tender son, he took care of the Most Holy Virgin Mary until her blessed assumption. And only after that he began to preach in other countries. Since ancient times, the Gospel from John is called spiritual, it contains the conversations of the Lord about the deepest truths of faith - about the embodiment of the Son of God, about the trinity, the redemption of mankind, about the spiritual revival, about the grace of the Holy Spirit and communion. The purpose of writing his gospel Apostle John expresses as follows: “This is written, so that you believe that Jesus is Christ, the Son of God, and, believing, had life in His name” (John 20, 31).
