The study is dedicated to the institutionalization of the II Muslim parish of Moscow, which developed in the northern parts of the city by 1894 and led to the formation of the current Moscow Cathedral Mosque in the excessive per. In 1904-1905 A number of predecessors of this parish are known - the so -called Places of the concentration of Muslims in a predominantly Orthodox environment. Among the objects of the Middle Ages are known: the tract Derbent (in the district of the metro "Turgenevskaya"), the Palace of the Kasimovsky prince (Myasnitskaya St), the court of the Khiva Sultan (Maroseyka St) and others. The objects of the New Age include: Khoshalov House-/ Izmailovs (Sretenka St), Saltykov’s house and Baibekov’s house on Tsvetnoy Boulevard.
