In the new historical and journalistic study of the correspondent of the RAEN, Doctor of Sciences, Professor, Archpriest Alexander Fedoseyev, the activities of priests-deputies of the State Duma of the Russian Empire from 1906 to 1917 are presented. The book discusses aspects of the influence of priests on state and church life in the Russian Empire, especially on the eve of the February Revolution, which radically changed the political and social system in Russia, not excluding the Russian Orthodox Church, in which the revolutionary events caused the disciplinary and psychological schisms that affected in the life of A large extent not only clergy, but also laity. Along with the renewal split that became a bitter lesson for those who encroached on the unity of the Church, many priests became confessors and new martyrs of Russian, preserving the Russian Church from the final defeat with their feat. The aspects of the post -revolutionary existence of the Church in Russia were most acutely manifested in the historical period under consideration from 1906 to 1917, when the republican ideology was created within the walls of the State Duma of the Russian Empire, which became the basis for the fall of the monarchy in Russia
