The book is a collection of articles by the famous Russian Byzantine and jurist A.M. Velichko, devoted to the issues of the significance of Isihashm (pure, Jesus prayer) for the formation of legal awareness and practical policy. The collection consists of two parts: the first included articles directly devoted to the issues of hesiham and understanding the place of man in the universe. A separate place is occupied by the theme of human freedom and free will, as it is revealed in the Christian creed.
