The monograph examines the history of the formation of philological aspects of the interpretation of the biblical name of God (Tetragrammaton) The focus of the main attention of the work contains the principles of the naming of God explicated in the context of biblical exegetics and Christian liturgy, which constituted the experience of the linguistic hermeneutics of the God -devastated name. The relevance of the study of this issue increases due to the urgent need to expand the knowledge base on the biblical exegez named after God and specify theoretical ideas about the linguistic principles of his functioning in biblical and liturgical texts, as well as the lack of generalizing works in this area. A philological study of the problems of the name of God in the Bible and in Christian liturgical worship covers many facts and phenomena related to the origin and development of liturgical and theological traditions in Eastern Christianity.
