The book is a biography of Jeroschimonakh Alexy (Danilov), who has been working in the mountains of the Caucasus for many years. From the very young age, a love of solitude and prayer has matured in the soul of the future monk, which first brought him to the Kiev Pechersk Lavra, and then, when the monastery was closed by the Soviet regime, in a secluded cell in the mountains of Abkhazia, where he lived for about forty years in his works and spiritual feats. It is especially amazing that the life of our contemporary is described - Father Alexy naked to the Lord in 2009. After reading the book, the reader will be able to see that in our time there are extraordinary asceticism and unceasing prayer.
