The monograph proposes an original method based on the superposition of two approaches to the study of religion: as the worship of the shrine (religious demand) and as interaction (religious proposal), in this case, priests and laity (believers) A religious interaction model has been built, which allows a quantitative assessment of a religious proposal in modern Russia to the proposal of the Russian Orthodox Church. The theoretical model is tested on the data of quantitative empirical research "50 confessions at Moscow parishes" and the broad empirical material of high-quality field research laboratory of the religion of the Orthodox Holy Tikhonov University (PSTU) in 2003-2017. The results of the study make it possible to question the thesis about the ongoing secularization and, in general, look at the modern religious situation in Russia in a new way.
