The biography of Vairochana is one of the most striking and famous works of Tibetan spiritual literature of the genre of Namitar. The great translator of Vairochan brought the fundamental Buddhist teachings from India to Tibet and, thanks to his deep understanding of the dharma, managed to convey in his native language the essence of the enlightened mind imprinted in the texts translated by him.
