Gospel of Luke

The new book of Iannuaria Ivlieva, one of the leading Russian biblicalists, continues a series of New Testament comments. This study is devoted to the first part of the dilogy of the evangelist Luke - the Gospel, in which, according to the author, all barriers are overcome, and Jesus becomes accessible to Jews, and Gentiles, and the righteous, and sinners - the Savior of the world. Like the previous books of Iannuaria Ivliev, this work is not exhausted by the scrupulous commented reading of the gospel. By setting out the text, a verse behind the verse, the author not only gives several possible options for the translation of the Greek New Testament original and gives a versatile interpretation of certain passages, but also reflects on their ethical and existential significance.
