The reader’s attention is proposed to the book of the confessor and old man, known in Russia and far beyond its borders, who recently deceled Archimandrite Trinity-Sergius Lavra Fr. Nauma (Bayborodin, 1927-2017), about the Monk Sergius of Radonezh. According to the father of Naum, the significance of St. Sergius is great not only as a teacher and a sample of the holy life in every era, but also as a spiritual leader and defender of our Russian Fatherland, which manifested itself in the obvious miracles of St. Sergius, and as his invisible intercession in the dramatic periods of the history of Russia. The first part of the collection included the best sermons of Father Naum, who were uttered by him during the memory of St. Sergius, his holy parents, the Monk Cyril and Mary, as well as the Radonezh saints. The second part of the collection gives more detailed materials about the events mentioned by Father Naum in his sermons. All articles included in this part were written (or taken from some publications) with the blessing of the priest, they are personally read and approved
