The future saint was born in Petrograd in the pious Orthodox family. During the Great Patriotic War, as part of the 118th Rifle Corps reached Germany. After the war, he became the first novice of the reviving Trinity-Sergius Lavra. He stood for more than half a century by the throne of God. He served in Central Asia, Belarus, Russia, in Ukraine. In recent years, he headed the Yaroslavl diocese, ascending to the bishop"s department at the age of 72. When creating a book, the author used the memories of a wide range of people: bishops, priests, monks, laity. The inner world of Lord Mikhey opens his letters, which are published for the first time.
