The book is dedicated to a wonderful person, the unique hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church, Metropolitan Benjamin (Fedchenkov) His life path began and ended in Russia, and there were also Bulgaria, Serbia, France, America, Canada. The time in which the Lord judged him was filled with many events: Vladyka lived in the Russian Empire, saw the October Revolution of 1917, survived emigrant wanderings and deprivations, headed the Russian Church of the Moscow Patriarchate abroad, met with many God"s people. Vladyka loved the people, and the people reciprocated him. He was the true bishop of God.

Despite the great dignity of Vladyka Veniamin, he was a very simple person, loved to communicate with the people, especially appreciated communication with spiritual people, wrote down their instructions and his impressions. Vladyka perfectly possessed the word, not to break away from his narrative, and the bright images of God"s people are pleasing to the soul. For the first time under one cover, along with the most interesting work of Metropolitan Veniamin “God"s people”, his biography was published-from childhood to death in the Pskov-Pechersky Monastery.
