The original introduction to the problems of the real role of religion in modern secular society on the example of Germany. The author of this book, a young school teacher of mathematics, did not go about the church shepherds and the officials of officials and politicians who were concerned about the public morality, but decided to figure out personally why there is so much religion today. Can common sense win propaganda? What is she, spiritual screening in German? How many believers are actually? Why do clerics make a horror story out of atheism? Who and why pays church tax? What does the church spend the money received from the state? What and why tell children in religion lessons in schools? How did immoral atheists fall low? What do opponents of abortion and euthanasia really care about? Real humor here alternates with bitter irony, the joy of bright moments is diluted with tragedies. And as if religion should help to understand everything, develop a right view of things, overcome all hardships and make a better world, but suddenly the author is right, and without religion would we live easier and better?
