This book is dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Her themes are three great wars experienced by Russia, and the role that the Russian Orthodox Church played in them. Covering the time from the Patriotic War of 1812 to the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, the book reminds the reader of the courage and exploits of our ancestors who defended their native land.
The heroes of the book are regimental priests of the Patriotic War of 1812, the First World War of 1914-1918, priests who replaced the cassocks to tunics during the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, ordinary believers, as well as “by their birth, belonging to the Church of the Orthodox ".
The book is allowed to disseminate the Publishing Council of the Russian Orthodox Church
