A collection of journalistic articles and essays of the Georgian writer Guram Odisharii (born 1951), as well as his novels "Passes of refugees" and “defeated before the war” are devoted to one of the most bitter and complex problems of today"s world and pages of post -Soviet history - the problem of interethnic conflicts, civilian wars , redrawing recognized by international law borders, division and enmity of yesterday"s neighbors. The concrete result of these conflicts is the problem of refugees that the whole world is fighting today and which Georgia was in full in the early 90s in the early 90s. The author, the indigenous Sukhowman, the writer, whose works were translated into dozens of languages of the world today, was in October 1993. After the fall of Sukhumi, one of thousands of those who had to leave the mountain passes to Swannia, fleeing the civil war. Now he is one of the few who is trying to establish a dialogue between the peoples of the Transcaucasia. And he does this, raising not political, but the ethical issues that this book is devoted primarily to, whether he speaks of issues of public life in Georgia or the fate of specific people who suffered from interethnic conflicts
