Nikolai Boldyrev (Seversky) is known primarily as the author of biographical (equally philosophical and poetic) books about Vasily V. Rozanov, Andrei Tarkovsky and R. -M. Rilke and further as the author of Pushkin and Jazz, "Forest Forests", "Bridge" and a number of other works. In his new book, he is busy with unusual experience: he builds up the plot of self-study, where his folk Russian elementalness is trying to reciprocatingly gaining the initial connection of soil and spirit. As he writes in the second chapter: “Demiurge himself is gone, and just the immense and infinity of his shade like an echo pierces and permeates you from infant attentive intuitions and listening to what, as it seemed to you, no one listens to.”
