In the third part of the book "from death to life. Notes of the military priest "Editor-compiler Sergey Galitsky will introduce readers to the fate of the military priest Archpriest Dimitry Vasilenkov. Father Demetrius participated in a military operation to force Georgia to peace in August 2008, as well as in a counter -terrorist operation in the North Caucasus. In total, from 2006 to the present, he made more than 20 business trips to the zone of active hostilities. During this time, he baptized more than 900 military personnel and employees of various power structures.
On June 29, 2009, during one of the business trips, Father Demetrius was wounded in battle. He was awarded the Order of Courage, the Order of Friendship and other departmental and public awards. Based on extensive personal experience, Archpriest Dimitri Vasilenkov formulated specific recommendations for priests who have a trip to war.
The book is addressed to both representatives of the military clergy of the Russian Orthodox Church and a wide range of readers who are interested in documentary evidence of modern military conflicts
