In the study of readers of the study, the diverse activity of the "Ordo Fratrum Minorum" in the XIII century, which took place within the French kingdom, is analyzed. The characteristics of the stages of the transformation of the order from the apostolic religious movement, not limited by the institutional framework, into the medieval scientist corporation, are clarified that one of its main properties was reproducing the characteristics of those structures into which, following the principle of the apostolic service, it was integrated. The author shows how, depending on the stages of the inclusion of the Order in the Roman and Royal Kuria, as well as the University of Paris, the internal history of the community, expressed in the lives of its founder - St. Francis of Assisian.
